Weddings take place in romantic outdoor water gardens in front of a 20-foot volcano waterfall (Mauna Kai means "Water Mountains" in Hawaiian) in the middle of an acre koi pond in the midst of 17-century Japanese gardens. When receptions are scheduled to follow the wedding ceremony, guests move into an outdoor setting of citrus tree gardens with the backdrop of swimming pools and a replication of Hawaii"s Honopu waterfall caves, of which the dance floor is adjacent to and the outdoor bar and seating area for delightful wedding dinners.
